Main Conference: Congress Centrum Bremen

The main IJCAI-ECAI 2026 conference will take place from 18 to 21 August 2026 at the Congress Centrum Bremen (https://congress-bremen.com/en/) (CCB), a centrally located congress venue in the heart of Bremen. Inside, the congress building offers postmodern conference spaces with generous natural light for plenary talks, technical sessions and networking opportunities. Directly connected to the CCB, Hall 4 will serve as the main area for the exhibition, poster sessions and coffee breaks, creating a central meeting point for participants throughout the conference.
The CCB is only a few steps from Bremen Central Station, with a direct tram connection to Bremen Airport and Main Station and parking available on Bürgerweide, directly in front of the congress building. Located next to Bürgerpark and within walking distance of the historic city centre, the venue is easy to reach by public transport and offers convenient access to the city centre.
The Maritim Hotel Bremen is directly connected to the Congress Centrum, and further hotel options are close by.

Workshop & Tutorials: University of Bremen

The workshops and tutorials of IJCAI-ECAI 2026 will take place from 15 to 17 August 2026 on the campus of the University of Bremen (https://www.uni-bremen.de/en/), before the main conference. Located north of the city centre, the University of Bremen is connected to Bremen Central Station and Bremen Airport by tram line 6. The central campus stop, Universität/Zentralbereich, provides direct access to the main university area. Here you will also find the registration desk.
In addition to the scheduled coffee breaks, the University Mensa in GW2 will be open on Saturday and Sunday for lunch at participants’ own expense. This provides a convenient on-campus lunch option during the workshop and tutorial days, particularly on Sunday, when supermarkets are closed in Germany and other lunch options are limited.

Address:

University of Bremen (Zentralbereich), Bibliothekstraße 1, 28359 Bremen
